Dr. Armando Kekūhaupi’o Garza, 67, of Pearl City, O’ahu, passed away on December 30, 2024. Born on
July 25, 1957, in Astoria, Oregon, he was the beloved son of Raymond and Marjorie Garza also of Pearl
City, O’ahu.
Armando was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend.  He was an inspiring
man who dedicated his life to God and his ‘Ohana.  A part of the first inaugural graduating class of Pearl
City High School in 1975, he then went on to serve his country in the United States Air Force for 12 and a
half years until completing his service in 1990 as a Staff Sergeant.  Amazingly, at the same time,
Armando earned a bachelor’s degree in medical sciences from Weber State University in 1991, and then a
Doctor of Chiropractic from Parker College in 1994. This would become one of his life missions helping
people from around Hawaii for the next 30 years.  Armando touched the lives of countless patients with
his healing through adjustments, vast knowledge, compassion and Aloha.

Dr. Garza is survived by his cherished wife of nearly 48 years, Pamela Garza; his dear children
Kāleleikahaku (Glenn) Mayeda, Kahōkūhoʻikeokalani (Nalani) Garza, and Imuaikalanakila (Tiffa) Garza;
his eight loving grandchildren Māla’e’ākea, Hi’alaumaka, Zeo, Zemmy, Zion, Lanakila, Mateo and
Sparrow; his beloved mother Marjorie, and siblings Chelo Garza-Maguire, Ramon Garza, Mario Garza,
Yolanda Young and Keiki “Baby” Mora. Armando was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Garza.
Armando was a devoted member of Island Family Christian Church and enjoyed serving as an Elder and
passionate teacher of God’s Word.
Dr. Garza’s legacy of faith and aloha will continue to inspire all who knew him.  He was the best husband,
dad, and Abuelito who loved, protected, and cherished his family dearly. He will be remembered as a man
of great strength and wisdom who leaned on the everlasting arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
