Ford “Hawaiian” Silva, 60, of Papakolea, passed away on January 26, 2025 at his home in Ewa Beach.
Ford was born October 3, 1964 to John and Marie Silva. Apostle Paul Kamanu married Ford and his soul mate Evon on June 26, 2004 at Hoomaluhia Botanical Gardens. He graduated from the School of Hard Knocks (Waipahu High School). He worked as a Supervisor for Pacific Environmental starting as a Tech I. He took pride in his job for twenty three years, he demanded and exemplified excellence in what he did as a representative of PENCO and the Aina. Ford is preceded in death by his father John Silva Jr, mother Marie Silva and sister Georgette Silva.
Ford is survived by his wife Evon, son Gary (Kalei), daughter Jan-Marie (Jonah), and Kathleen (Shelly), Sister Vannette Silva, Rose (Iwa) Luecke and brother John Silva III. Grandchildren Jacelyn, Zhanesten (Maka), Jazzlyn, Zhaydestie, (Matilda), Joylyn, Ian (Kale), Ayden-Jean, Ayzlee, Aycen, Nixon and Janesty-Hope. Great-grand daughter Jayzlyn-Hope.
