Ross Raymond Taylor Jr

Ross Raymond Taylor, Jr., age 72, of Hilo, passed away on December 25 at his home. Ross was a retired member of the Operating Engineers Union, having worked with Grace Pacific, and he lived for over 30 years in Honaunau. During his retirement, Ross enjoyed playing pool, caring for his beloved dogs, and spending time with family. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Kawaiaha'o Church, 957 Punchbowl Street, Honolulu, HI 96813. He is survived by his five children: Jennifer Lee Sniffen, Shyla Kanani Taylor, Ross Kuili-Lokahi Taylor, Jennifer Gomez, and Leimomi Ryan Proue-Taylor; brothers Gregory, Patrick, and Abraham; and 13 grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Dodo Mortuary, Inc., in Hilo, and Aloha Mortuary on Oahu.
