Earl Wayne Papas, Jr.

Earl Wayne Papas, Jr., 44, passed on August 6, 2026. He was born in Honolulu. As an Army brat, his childhood was spent in Germany and several other states before finally returning home as a teenager. He was a beloved big brother and protector to Calvin, Janny, Joey, and Felix. In addition to his four siblings and their families, he is survived by his father Earl and a son. He was predeceased by his mother Wendy (Shon) Papas.

He leaves us with these words:

"Today was a good day! A day above ground is better than a day below ground. So if anybody had a messed up day just think about how lucky your are that you are alive and well. Pray for tomorrow because tomorrow may never come. Appreciate life for we are lucky to be alive. Never hesitate to say I'm Sorry, Please Forgive Me, Thank You, and I Love You!"

Befitting of his love for the ocean, Earl will be laid to rest with a private scattering of ashes at sea.
