Celebration of Life

In Loving Memory of Jesse Jonah Hidaro Jr.

Jesse Jonah Hidaro Jr. was born on May 28, 1986, in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi. He passed away peacefully at his home in Māʻili, Oʻahu, on July 23, 2026, at the age of 40.

Jesse was the beloved son of the late Jesse Jonah Hidaro Sr. and Labor Ann Hidaro. As the oldest of four siblings, he shared a lifelong bond with his sisters, Camille Hidaro and Chauntel Hidaro, and his brother, Jaez'n-Jeffrey Hidaro.

Above all else, Jesse was a father. He is survived by his four sons: Jayson Hidaro Ortiz, Damien Rivera, Jayden Hidaro Rivera, and Dayten Hidaro Rivera, whom he loved deeply. Family was always a part of his heart, and his love for his children will continue through the lives they lead.

Those who knew Jesse knew he had a big heart. He was compassionate, caring, and willing to help others. Though life brought him many challenges and he sometimes lost his way, the goodness in his heart never disappeared. He will be remembered not only for his struggles, but for his kindness, his love for his family, and the genuine care he showed to those around him.

Jesse leaves behind his mother, 3 siblings, 4 sons, extended family, and many friends who will forever cherish the memories they shared with him. He is reunited in eternal peace with his father, Jesse Jonah Hidaro Sr.

Though his time with us was far too short, Jesse's life touched many people. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him, and he will be deeply missed every day.

May he rest in love, peace, and eternal aloha.
