Joelle Kamaile Perreira, aged 25, passed away on July 4, 2025,
in Honolulu. Born on November 3, 1999, Kamaile dedicated her
life to caring for others in her role as a Registered Nurse.
Kamaile attended Manoa Elementary School and St. Francis High
School before pursuing higher education at the University of
Hawaii-Hilo. Her commitment to healthcare and helping others
was evident through her compassionate service and dedication
to her patients.She is survived by her loving parents, Ryan and Joe-
Ann Perreira; her brother, Ryan Kapono Perreira; fiancée Pili Kekipi-Nu’uanu;
grandparents, Joseph and Annette Gardner & godparents, Wesley Perreira & Stephanie Holden (Gardner).
Kamaile was preceded in death by her grandparents, Gaylord and Andrita
Perreira; great-grandparents, Lawrence and Emilia Souza,
Frank and Amelia Perreira, Catalino and Castora Suero.
Kamaile’s hobbies included sports, music, crocheting, cooking,
growing plants, drawing, and leisure time spent with friends
and family. Her vibrant spirit and zest for life were apparent in
every activity she took part in, bringing joy and laughter to all
who knew her.
Kamaile’s life was a beautiful testament to the love she had for
her family and the passion she had for helping other people.
She will be deeply missed and forever cherished in the hearts
of those she touched.
