Celebration of Life

John David Brazelton
Age 62

John lived his life as a true American hero. While that word is often used to describe men of his generation, in John’s case it was simply the truth. He dedicated a combined 30 years in service to his country, serving in the United States Army with unwavering pride, honor, and dignity. He retired at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel—an accomplishment earned through discipline, leadership, and sacrifice.

Even after retiring from the military, John continued to serve in the private sector, bringing the same integrity and commitment to every role he held. Outside of work, he was an avid outdoorsman who found his greatest peace on the ocean. As a member of the Waikiki Beach Boys, he embraced the water fully, often taking to the waves in a canoe—sometimes even solo.

John is survived by his daughters, Alexis and Kaitlyn; his sons‑in‑law, Frank and Cobie; and a large extended family, including many siblings and his mother, Sharon.

Memorial Information
John will be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery. Service time is to be determined.
