Louise Annette Tanswell

Louise Annette Tanswell (Ellie Goldsmith) of Kaneohe, Hawai'i passed away on March 11th, 2025. Ellie was born and educated in Bournemouth England, before moving to Southampton where she trained and became a Registered Nurse. Ellie decided to travel the world as a nurse and spent many years nursing between England, California and Florida, where she became a US citizen. She moved to Honolulu in 2004 and married Gordon Goldsmith in 2017. Ellie dedicated her life to helping others and started ‘Lymphacare Hawaii’ a non-profit created to help those afflicted with lymphedema. She provided direct care for her patients as well as education for caregivers, massage and physical therapists, nurses and doctors. Through her training materials and online classes Ellie’s legacy will carry on. Ellie contributed greatly to our Hawai'i community and will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to know her. Ellie was a loving, strong, brave woman and a wonderful spirit who is greatly missed by many.
