Outhonthip “Noy” Steed

June 16, 1975 - April 6, 2026
Celebration of Life
Please note that a small, private visitation has been scheduled for Noy’s closest immediate family and friends only. This is not a memorial service, wake, or public gathering. Because space is very limited, we kindly ask that only those who have been personally invited attend.
Please rest assured there will be a larger memorial gathering to remember and honor Noy at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific (Punchbowl) in the coming weeks. Details will be shared as soon as they are finalized.
Thank you for your understanding and support as our family navigates this very difficult time.
Outhonthip “Noy” Steed, 50, of Kapolei, Hawaii, passed away on April 6, 2026. Born June 16, 1975, in Laos, Noy was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend.
She is survived by her son, Daniel Manpathoum; her parents, Bounnak and Thongmy Manpathoum; her sisters, Lomsanith (and brother-in-law Ronald White) and Erica Manpathoum; her brother, Arthur (and sister-in-law Tatia-Jenay Manpathoum); her nieces, Thalei Cole and Madeleine; her nephew, Franklin; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Noy will be remembered for her love of the beach and surfing in the ocean, and the joy of helping her neighbors. She had the gift of gab and was free-spirited and fearless to boot. She loved deeply and gave her heart out freely. Beautiful in her unique way, she will always be our Wonder Woman. We love her very much, and she will be missed more than words can express.
